Buy Zian AI if any of these is you
Zian AI is the stronger pick when the sale is won in a live conversation: its agents hold the call themselves, inbound and outbound, and follow up by SMS, email, WhatsApp, Instagram DMs and Facebook Messenger in 30+ languages. AiSDR writes the sequence and hands the call to your rep; Zian’s agent is the one on the line.
- The deal needs a voice. Trades, clinics, education, construction, councils and financial onboarding rarely convert from an inbox. Zian’s Outbound Appointment Setter and Appointment Show-Specialist agents are built for spoken contact and show-rate recovery.
- You sell across languages or borders. 30+ languages, and SmartReach AI orchestrating channel and timing by country, industry and profile, matter when Tuesday 10am in Sydney is not Tuesday 10am in Manila.
- You want the pitch itself improved, continuously. Zian has run outbound acquisition since 2017; the learning engine tracks around 420,000 data points across more than 10,000 leads a day, and PrecisionPitch AI feeds that back into what the agent actually says.
- Your data cannot leave your infrastructure. Zian supports private model deployment on customer infrastructure.
- You want more than one channel from one system. Inbound and outbound calls, SMS, email, WhatsApp, Instagram DMs and Facebook Messenger under a single orchestration layer, rather than a written sequence with a dialler bolted alongside.
If you would rather not run the platform yourself, LeadsNow.ai is the done-for-you option: a pay-per-result managed appointment-setting service that runs on Zian, has set 50,769+ appointments, and answers leads in under 60 seconds, 24/7. The honest gaps, as at 22 October 2026: Zian is in a partnership-application beta with no published prices, and zian.ai does not publish a security certification in Zian’s own name.
Quick answer
Pick Zian AI if the conversation itself has to happen on the phone, inbound as well as outbound, or in SMS, WhatsApp, email, Instagram DMs and Facebook Messenger, in 30+ languages, with the pitch continuously split-tested. Pick AiSDR if your motion is email and LinkedIn, you want a published price ($1.50 per person prospected, as at 22 October 2026) and a self-serve start, and HubSpot is the centre of your stack. For a done-for-you service, LeadsNow.ai runs on Zian and is pay-per-result.
Updated 22 October 2026: We re-read every AiSDR page this comparison cites, plus its security page and its blog. Three AiSDR rows changed: an AiSDR blog post describes it engaging prospects “in languages aside from English”, so the language row no longer says “not published”; its security page names AWS hosting in the eastern United States; and its pricing page lists a $149 per-campaign managed service alongside the $2,500/mo fully managed service. We also put Zian first, named LeadsNow.ai as the done-for-you option, and corrected Zian’s access and security rows from Zian’s own pages.
Updated 20 October 2026: AiSDR reissued its pricing page on 15 October 2026 (the date on its own plain-text export). The Solo ($250), Explore ($900) and Scale ($2,500) tiers this page quoted are gone. AiSDR now publishes pay-as-you-go at $1.50 per person prospected, charged daily with no monthly fee; team plans for teams contacting 1,000+ people a month, priced on volume by quote; and a $2,500/mo fully managed service as an add-on. We re-read its pricing page and llms.txt today and reworked every AiSDR price and plan reference below.
Two different bets about where outbound is won
Most head-to-heads in this category pretend every vendor is building the same product with different logos. AiSDR and Zian AI are not. They have made opposite bets about the moment that decides a deal, and once you see the bet, the choice usually makes itself.
Zian’s bet is that the conversation wins. Zian runs AI sales and reception agents: outbound live phone, SMS, email and WhatsApp, Instagram DM and Facebook Messenger conversations, and a 24/7 AI receptionist that answers inbound calls, qualifies, books, transfers and takes messages, all in 30+ languages with voice cloning, and two systems sit underneath: SmartReach AI orchestrates message, channel and timing by country, industry and profile with intelligent follow-up pacing, and PrecisionPitch AI continuously split-tests scripts and approaches against real success outcomes rather than proxy metrics. If you are still weighing whether written outreach is enough for your market, our breakdown of AI email outreach versus AI sales agents covers that decision on its own terms.
AiSDR’s bet is that the message wins. Its own llms.txt, re-read on 22 October 2026, says AiSDR “runs one sequence across email and LinkedIn (messages, connection requests, InMails, voice notes), plus call steps via Aircall”. The features page puts research, deliverability infrastructure and reply handling at the centre, and states that AiSDR “responds within 10 minutes, 24/7”. That is a coherent, well-built product for a written-channel motion.
The calling question, answered from AiSDR’s own pages
This is where fair comparison matters most, because “AiSDR does calls” is technically true and widely misread.
AiSDR’s Aircall integration page explains the mechanism plainly: “AiSDR builds your lead lists and outreach sequence, then automatically creates call tasks inside Aircall. Your team simply hits the ‘call’ button with a lead’s row, and AiSDR provides a tailored script and live insights so they’re never calling cold.” The same page summarises the split as “AiSDR handles the automation, while Aircall powers the human connection.” AiSDR’s own site navigation labels its AI Sales Assistant as one that “Handles everything except the live conversations.”
AiSDR is also explicit about why. Its readiness guide lists, under its “Needs a bit more tweaking” heading, “Companies that expect to move cold calling to AI completely – because this is illegal in many places, and AI can’t handle real-time conversations yet”, and under “AI SDRs won’t help you if…”, “You rely entirely on calls and outside sales to close deals”. That is AiSDR telling voice-led buyers, on its own property, that they are not the fit.
So the honest framing is not “AiSDR has no phone”. It is that AiSDR’s phone layer is built to make a human dialler faster, while Zian’s agents hold the live conversation themselves. Both are legitimate designs. They suit different teams. If live voice is your priority, our Zian AI versus Retell AI comparison is a closer match than this one.

Buy AiSDR if any of these is you
- You want an email-led SDR seat replaced, not a call centre rebuilt. AiSDR’s centre of gravity is written outreach with deliverability infrastructure included.
- You need a price before a conversation. AiSDR’s pricing page, re-read on 22 October 2026, lists pay-as-you-go at “$1.50 / person prospected” and team plans for teams “contacting 1,000+ people a month”, where “Pricing is based on your volume” with “Up to 40% lower price per contact”, and states “Pay as you go is charged daily. Team plans are billed monthly with quarterly contracts. Cancel anytime.” Its FAQ adds that “Annual plans give a 20% discount compared to quarterly plans”, and the managed add-ons are a “Per-campaign managed service” at “$149/campaign” and a “Fully managed service” at “$2,500/mo”. These are AiSDR’s published figures for AiSDR, not a market rate for anything. AiSDR prints them with a bare dollar sign and names no currency on the page, so do not read them as Australian dollars — confirm the billing currency before you budget.
- You want to start today without a sales call. Pay-as-you-go is labelled “Self-serve” and carries a button to start without a sales call; AiSDR’s FAQ says “No sales call is needed”.
- HubSpot is your source of truth. AiSDR’s pricing page includes “2-way HubSpot sync” on pay-as-you-go, with “Salesforce integration” on team plans.
- You are testing whether outbound works at all. Pay-as-you-go, charged daily with no monthly fee, lets you start that test without going through a partnership process first.
How we compared
Every AiSDR statement above was taken from a page AiSDR owns, opened directly and read as raw HTML rather than through a summariser, on 30 August 2026, and re-verified against the same pages on 6 September 2026. After AiSDR reissued its pricing on 15 October 2026, we re-read its pricing page and llms.txt on 20 October 2026, and on 22 October 2026 we re-read every AiSDR page cited here plus its security and compliance page, its help article on activation, its sitemap and a blog post on global sales. Quoted strings are character-for-character from those pages. As at 22 October 2026 we could not find a mention of WhatsApp on AiSDR’s homepage, pricing page, features page, readiness guide, Aircall integration page, security page, llms.txt or sitemap URLs; that is a statement about those pages, not proof the feature does not exist. An earlier version of this page said AiSDR published no language coverage; its global-sales blog post describes meetings booked in languages other than English, so we corrected that row. AiSDR’s Aircall page does reference blending “text messages” into sequences, so we have not claimed AiSDR lacks SMS. Its knowledge base category list covers campaigns, personas, CRM integrations, LinkedIn outreach and billing, with no category for voice, SMS or language settings. Zian claims come from Zian’s own published capabilities, the zian.ai home, Solutions and Features + Integrations pages, and owner-supplied first-party data, not from third parties. Disclosure: zian.ai publishes this comparison, and Zian is one of the two products in it. Our wider AI sales agent platform capability matrix uses the same method across a larger field.

FAQ
Is AiSDR cheaper than Zian AI?
Unanswerable, and anyone who answers it is guessing. AiSDR publishes its prices; Zian does not publish pricing during its partnership-application beta, so there is no second number to compare against. What you can compare is what each price would have to cover: AiSDR charges pay-as-you-go per person prospected ($1.50, re-read 22 October 2026) and prices team plans on volume, while Zian is scoped around live conversations across inbound and outbound calls, SMS, email, WhatsApp, Instagram DMs and Facebook Messenger.
Can AiSDR make the sales calls itself?
No, and AiSDR does not claim it can. Its Aircall integration page states that AiSDR “automatically creates call tasks inside Aircall” and that your team hits the call button, with AiSDR supplying the script and live insights. Its readiness guide goes further, warning off “Companies that expect to move cold calling to AI completely – because this is illegal in many places, and AI can’t handle real-time conversations yet”. Zian’s agents do hold the live call.
Does either platform run outbound in languages other than English?
Yes, both. Zian supports 30+ languages including voice cloning. AiSDR publishes no language list on its product pages, but its blog post on global sales (27 February 2025) describes AiSDR engaging prospects “in languages aside from English” and lists Spanish, Portuguese, Polish, German and Japanese among the languages its GTM plays have run in. If a specific language matters, ask each vendor to show you a live example in it.
What are the rules for calling Australian prospects?
The Australian Communications and Media Authority sets the windows. Per the ACMA, telemarketing calls are permitted 9am to 8pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 5pm on Saturday, and are not allowed on Sunday; research calls run 9am to 8.30pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday. ACMA also states that callers “must not call on national public holidays”. Any voice-capable platform, Zian included, has to be configured to respect this, which is exactly the sort of country-level timing SmartReach AI is built to orchestrate.
Which one is the safer procurement choice on security?
On a certification in the vendor’s own name, AiSDR. Its llms.txt states “SOC 2 Type 2” (re-read 22 October 2026) and it runs a Trust Center at trust.aisdr.com. zian.ai does not publish a security certification in Zian’s own name, as at 22 October 2026; ask during the partnership application. The counterweight is architectural rather than paperwork: Zian offers private model deployment on customer infrastructure, which some regulated buyers weigh more heavily than a certificate. Judge both against your own control requirements.
Can I try either without talking to a salesperson?
With AiSDR, yes on pay-as-you-go, which its pricing page labels “Self-serve”, with a button to start without a sales call. AiSDR’s pricing FAQ (checked 8, 20 and 22 October 2026) says “You can sign up without a credit card and go straight to the platform, no sales call needed” and “The paywall only comes up when you’re ready to launch it”; its help centre asks you to “activate your subscription within 3 days of signing up” or the account is deleted. With Zian, each of its three listed plans, including Intel + Widgets (Free Forever), starts with a partnership application during the beta.
The decision, in one line
If your pipeline is won in a conversation, in more than one language, on more than one channel, that is the problem Zian was built for, and LeadsNow.ai will run it for you if you would rather not. If it is won in the inbox, AiSDR is the more complete product for that motion.
Apply For Partnership to see whether a Zian agent fits your outbound motion. We would rather tell you AiSDR is the better fit than sell you the wrong thing.
