RocketPhone vs Aircall, Nooks, Frontspin for SDRs - Zian AI

RocketPhone vs Aircall, Nooks, Frontspin for SDRs

Quick answer: An AI agent such as Zian makes the calls itself. For human SDRs, pick by dialling mode: Nooks’ Parallel mode runs 2–5 lines (about 80–120 dials an hour); RocketPhone, Salesforce-native, from US$45 a user a month; Aircall’s Power Dialer, one line, US$50; Frontspin, now TitanX, from US$475 a seat. Prices as at 26 October 2026.

The searches behind this page are “aircall vs rocketphone for sdrs”, “rocketphone vs nooks for sdrs” and “rocketphone vs frontspin for sdrs”. The four names are not four versions of one product. Aircall is a cloud phone system with a Power Dialer. RocketPhone, from RocketPhone.ai Limited in London, is telephony built inside Salesforce on Open CTI and Service Cloud Voice. Nooks is a parallel dialler with AI coaching and a virtual salesfloor. Frontspin was bought by TitanX in February 2026 and is now part of a single-line dialler driven by TitanX’s Phone Intent scoring. So the first decision is the dialling mode: click-to-call, power, parallel or single-line “precision”. Brand comes second. Every fact below comes from the vendor’s own pages, read on 26 October 2026, after walking each vendor’s full sitemaps, help centre where one exists, and legal pages.

Where Zian fits: let an AI agent make the calls your SDRs never reach

If your problem is leads that wait hours for a call, or never get one, start with Zian before buying more dialler seats. Zian AI is an AI sales and reception agents platform: its agents place outbound calls, follow up by SMS, email and WhatsApp, and book the appointment. They also answer inbound calls 24/7 as an AI receptionist that qualifies, books, transfers and takes messages. They handle answering machines and voicemail on calls, and carry on conversations in Instagram DMs and Facebook Messenger.

Zian is a different shape of tool from the four diallers on this page: an AI agent that holds the conversation, not software that makes a human rep dial faster. On its home page, Zian reports 28x more contact attempts and a 926% increase in follow-ups. It also says its AI books 40+ meetings/week for many teams. It works in 30+ languages and connects to HubSpot, Salesforce, HighLevel, Zapier and an API. Our explainer on AI phone agents compared with predictive diallers shows where each one fits.

Zian is not the only AI caller in this group. Aircall sells an AI Sales Agent that calls a new HubSpot lead “typically inside a minute”, makes one more attempt if nobody answers, and then hands the lead to a rep. Aircall’s Outbound Campaigns help article adds AI Voice Agent campaigns, “dialed automatically”, on all Aircall plans. RocketPhone offers its telephony and SIP routing layer to a third-party voice AI such as Salesforce’s Agentforce Voice. TitanX says the opposite of both: “A rep places every call; no AI places calls for them.”

The honest limit: Zian is in a partnership-application beta with no published prices; zian.ai lists a Free Forever plan (Intel + Widgets). If you would rather not run it yourself, LeadsNow.ai is the done-for-you option. It is a managed, pay-per-result AI appointment-setting service that runs on Zian, answers leads in under 60 seconds, 24/7, and has set 50,769+ appointments.

Is Frontspin still sold? It is now TitanX’s Precision Dialer

A request to frontspin.com on 26 October 2026 redirected to titanx.io. TitanX’s home page says, in its structured data: “TitanX bought FrontSpin in February 2026 and integrated it fully into the TitanX Precision Dialer platform. FrontSpin is no longer a separate product or company.” TitanX’s acquisition post, which its blog now shows dated 14 October 2026, told customers that “nothing changes for FrontSpin customers right now” and that “FrontSpin will continue to operate as a standalone business”, with the two platforms unified “over time”. The home page describes that unification as done.

So “RocketPhone vs Frontspin” today means RocketPhone against TitanX’s Precision Dialer. TitanX describes it as “a single-line sales dialer with Phone Intent™ scoring, Smart Stream, Titan Defense number health, and reporting built in”. It adds: “We will never offer a parallel dialing mode or feature.”

RocketPhone vs Aircall vs Nooks vs Frontspin: the comparison table

Rows 1 and 2 are our picks for teams that want calls made without adding headcount. Rows 3 to 6 are not ranked against each other, because each sells a different dialling mode; choose them with the decision table further down.

One line on each: RocketPhone writes the call into Salesforce, Aircall runs the whole phone system, Nooks maximises dials per hour, and TitanX tries to dial fewer, better-chosen numbers. What the prospect sees on screen is a separate layer; our guide to branded calling and caller name display explains how it works.

Aircall vs RocketPhone for SDRs

Aircall vs RocketPhone is a choice between a phone system with a dialler and Salesforce telephony with a dialler. Aircall’s Power Dialer is on the Professional and Enterprise plans, not Essentials, and dials “in sequence”, with wrap-up time after each call. It runs in the desktop and web apps, not the mobile app, from lists of “up to 1,000 numbers”. Aircall’s own outbound sales tech stack guide says it “is not a sequencing platform and not a parallel dialer”. A 2024 Aircall blog says the Power Dialer lets reps “make up to 80 calls in an hour”; its current guide gives Aircall’s own figure as “three times more leads per hour” and credits “up to 80 calls per hour” to PhoneBurner instead. HubSpot works on every Aircall plan, while Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud need Professional or above.

RocketPhone calls itself “built natively for Salesforce”: it embeds a softphone in Salesforce through Open CTI or Service Cloud Voice, and logs transcript, recording, summary and sentiment to the record. Its A.I plan adds real-time AI coaching. Three limits matter for a calling floor. RocketPhone sells to teams of five or more on annual terms. And its acceptable use policy says its “unlimited” services may not be used for auto-dialling or “predictive” dialling, which it defines as “non-manual dialing or using a software program or other means to continuously dial or place outbound calls”. Its terms of use, last updated 15 October 2026, also make the “Unlimited” call allowance “subject to our acceptable use limit of 1500 minutes per user per month”. If your SDRs will power-dial all day, get that pattern and that limit written into the order form.

Pick Aircall when you want one phone system for sales and support, run HubSpot, or have fewer than five users (it needs three licences). Pick RocketPhone when Salesforce is the system of record and you want every call transcribed and coached inside it. Our PhoneBurner vs RocketPhone comparison for Salesforce and HubSpot teams goes deeper on RocketPhone’s terms.

RocketPhone vs Nooks for SDRs

RocketPhone vs Nooks is one line against several. Nooks’ help centre describes four modes. Power dialling “calls one prospect at a time”. Parallel dialling “calls several prospects at once (between 2 and 5 at a time) and only connects you when a real person picks up”. Adaptive and Turbo change the line count second by second, and Turbo “averages approximately 6 lines at a time”. Nooks puts typical volumes at about 40–60 dials an hour on Power and 80–120 on Parallel, and labels them “directional”. Adaptive and Turbo need a Parallel Dialing seat and a standard, not branded, Nooks number. Your workspace must also opt into data sharing.

RocketPhone publishes no line count and no dials-per-hour figure. Its own 2024 blog post describes “Predictive Scheduling”, which re-orders a list by the best time to call, as its answer to multi-line dialling. Nooks connects to Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, Salesloft, Gong and Apollo; RocketPhone’s current pages name only Salesforce, though its better call outcomes page says it “integrates seamlessly with Salesforce and other CRMs” and its feature comparison ticks “Support for Non-Salesforce Users”. Our power vs parallel dialling comparison of PhoneBurner and Nooks covers the abandoned-call side of multi-line dialling.

RocketPhone vs Frontspin (now TitanX) for SDRs

Both tools dial one line at a time, so the difference is what decides who gets called. TitanX scores contacts with Phone Intent, which it says “tells you which contacts will answer before the first dial”. Its Smart Stream queue then orders the dials; TitanX says Smart Stream “is deterministic and event-driven, not AI”. It claims “20%-30% connect rates” and “50% fewer dials”. TitanX also bundles number health into the seat. Titan Defense registers numbers, signs calls with STIR/SHAKEN, rotates them, handles local presence and replaces unrecoverable numbers “at no additional cost”.

RocketPhone puts its effort into the conversation: live transcription, AI bookmarks that trigger Salesforce workflows, and real-time coaching. On reputation, RocketPhone says numbers and reputation remain “a shared responsibility between you, your carrier and the terminating networks”. Price separates them sharply: TitanX starts at US$475 a seat a month against RocketPhone’s US$45 or US$85 “from” prices. TitanX also says that “to get the full value” your reps need to move onto its dialler. International dialling is quoted rather than listed on TitanX. RocketPhone offers international calling on every plan at per-minute rates.

Connect math: conversations per hour by dialling mode

A dialler’s value shows up as conversations, not dials. This worked calculation uses only figures the vendors publish; where a vendor publishes none, it is left out. All three steps were computed by script.

Inputs. Nooks’ help centre: about 40–60 dials an hour on Power and 80–120 on Parallel, “directional”. Aircall’s 2024 blog: “up to 80 calls in an hour” on its Power Dialer, a ceiling rather than a typical rate. Aircall’s current dialler guide credits the same 80-an-hour figure to PhoneBurner, so treat the Aircall row as the weakest input. Connect rate: Nooks’ blog says connect rates “typically range from 3-8% depending on data quality and calling strategy”. TitanX claims 20–30% on lists it has scored, but publishes no dials-per-hour figure. RocketPhone publishes neither. Dialling time: 60 hours per SDR a month (3 hours a day for 20 days), which is our assumption, not a vendor figure.

Mode (vendor figure) Dials an hour Conversations an hour at 3–8% Dials a month at 60 hours Conversations a month at 3–8% Hours to dial 1,000 numbers once
Nooks Power, 1 line 40–60 1.2–4.8 2,400–3,600 72–288 16.7–25.0
Aircall Power Dialer, 1 line (ceiling) up to 80 up to 2.4–6.4 up to 4,800 up to 144–384 at least 12.5
Nooks Parallel, 2–5 lines 80–120 2.4–9.6 4,800–7,200 144–576 8.3–12.5

Step 1, per hour. 40 × 0.03 = 1.2 and 60 × 0.08 = 4.8 conversations an hour on Nooks Power; 80 × 0.03 = 2.4 and 120 × 0.08 = 9.6 on Nooks Parallel. Aircall’s ceiling: 80 × 0.03 = 2.4 and 80 × 0.08 = 6.4.

Step 2, per month. 40 × 60 = 2,400 and 60 × 60 = 3,600 dials; 2,400 × 0.03 = 72 and 3,600 × 0.08 = 288 conversations. Parallel: 4,800–7,200 dials and 144–576 conversations. Working through a 1,000-number list once takes 1,000 ÷ 60 = 16.7 to 1,000 ÷ 40 = 25.0 dialling hours on one Nooks line, and 1,000 ÷ 120 = 8.3 to 1,000 ÷ 80 = 12.5 hours on parallel.

Step 3, the single-line break-even. TitanX publishes a connect rate but no dial rate, so the useful question is how many dials an hour a single-line rep would need to match Nooks Parallel. Divide Nooks Parallel’s 2.4–9.6 conversations an hour by TitanX’s claimed rate. At 30%, that is 2.4 ÷ 0.30 = 8.0 to 9.6 ÷ 0.30 = 32.0 dials an hour. At 20%, it is 2.4 ÷ 0.20 = 12.0 to 9.6 ÷ 0.20 = 48.0. Per 100 dials, Nooks’ typical range gives 3–8 conversations and TitanX’s claim gives 20–30. TitanX’s own outcome figure is that its customers report “10–20+ conversations with prospects a day instead of 2–3”.

Three cautions. Every input is a vendor’s own claim, and Nooks calls its volumes “directional”. A parallel dial that gets cancelled when another line connects is not logged as a dial in Nooks, so dial counts are not measured the same way across vendors. And TitanX’s 20–30% applies to contacts its model has picked as likely to answer. Run your own list for two weeks before trusting any row.

Before any connect math, check the smallest order each vendor will sell at list price. Aircall Professional: 3 × US$50 × 12 = US$1,800 a year. RocketPhone: 5 × US$45 × 12 = US$2,700 on Lite or 5 × US$85 × 12 = US$5,100 on A.I, before the implementation fee. TitanX Precision Dialer: 3 × US$475 × 12 = US$17,100. Nooks quotes on request.

The dialler-mode decision table

Our Mode-first rule: decide how many lines each rep should run from your list size and call type, then pick the tool that sells that mode for your CRM. The list-size breakpoints come from the connect math above. At 60 dialling hours a month, Nooks’ own power figures cover 2,400–3,600 dials per SDR, and Aircall’s single-line ceiling is 4,800.

Team size Dials needed per SDR a month CRM Best mode Which tool
Any size; leads arrive faster than reps can call them Not the constraint: the gap is unworked leads and follow-up HubSpot, Salesforce, HighLevel, or Zapier/API AI agent that calls and follows up by SMS, email and WhatsApp Zian; LeadsNow.ai if you want it run for you
3 or more users who also take inbound calls Up to about 4,800 (Aircall’s ceiling claim), from lists of up to 1,000 numbers HubSpot (any plan); Salesforce (Professional and above) Click-to-dial plus single-line power Aircall Professional
5 or more seats on an annual contract Low to moderate; warm or regulated calls where every word is logged Salesforce Click-to-dial, power or progressive, with live AI coaching RocketPhone A.I (get the dialling pattern written into the order)
3 or more reps calling a defined North American ICP Fewer, better-chosen dials; number health matters more than volume Salesforce or HubSpot (not Outreach or Salesloft yet) Single-line, answer-likelihood-prioritised TitanX Precision Dialer (formerly Frontspin)
Any SDR team on cold lists More than about 3,600 (above Nooks’ own top power figure) Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, Salesloft or Apollo Parallel, 2–5 lines, or Adaptive/Turbo Nooks
Any SDR team on warm or small lists 2,400 or fewer Any of the above Single-line power: a parallel seat buys little here Aircall, RocketPhone, TitanX, or Nooks in Power mode

Read the table by the binding constraint. If your reps already finish the list each week, more lines will not help; better numbers or an AI agent for follow-up will. If the list outruns a single line, parallel dialling is the mode built for it, and Nooks is the only parallel dialler of these four.

Who each tool is wrong for

Zian is wrong for a team that wants every conversation held by a human rep and only needs faster dialling. It is also wrong for a buyer who needs a published price today.

RocketPhone is wrong for teams of fewer than five, for teams that cannot sign an annual contract, for HubSpot shops without written confirmation of support, and for anyone who needs voicemail drop or a published dial rate. We found neither on rocketphone.ai.

Aircall is wrong for high-volume cold calling that needs more than one line per rep, by its own description. It is also wrong for reps who must dial from the mobile app, and for lists that need loading in batches larger than 1,000 numbers.

Nooks is wrong for buyers who need a list price before a sales call, and for Smart Presence outside the US and Canada. It also suits teams poorly if their workspace cannot opt into the data sharing Adaptive and Turbo require.

TitanX (Frontspin) is wrong for budgets built around sub-US$100 seats, for teams that want to keep their current dialler and still get Titan Defense, and for teams that run Outreach or Salesloft as their system of action. Its integrations page answers that last one: “Not yet”, with Outreach and Salesloft integrations described as “coming”.

How we compared them

Methodology and defined terms. A dialling mode is how many numbers the software rings per rep at once. Click-to-dial means the rep clicks each number. Power or progressive means the software dials the next number after each call, one line. Parallel means several lines at once, with the rep bridged to whoever answers. Single-line precision is TitanX’s term for one line in a scored order. An AI agent holds the call itself. A feature counts as stated only when the vendor’s own page names it in a sentence we quote. Each quote was read in context for “beta”, “not yet” or plan limits. A published price is one on the vendor’s pricing page, including prices that load in the page’s scripts. Not found means we fetched every URL in the vendor’s sitemaps on 26 October 2026: 117 RocketPhone pages plus 78 page scripts, 2,546 Aircall pages and help articles, 516 Nooks pages and help articles, and 152 TitanX pages and API docs. We also followed in-page links missing from those sitemaps and searched in each vendor’s own vocabulary. Each search was checked against a term we knew was on the same pages. Twenty Nooks help articles linked from other pages did not load for us, so no gap on this page depends on them. Zian is scored only from its published capabilities and zian.ai product pages.

Disclosure. zian.ai publishes this page and sells Zian, which is ranked first here. LeadsNow.ai is a sister business that runs on Zian.

RocketPhone, Aircall, Nooks and Frontspin: frequently asked questions

Is Aircall or RocketPhone better for SDRs?

Aircall suits SDRs who need a full phone system, run HubSpot, or have three or four users. Its Power Dialer dials one number at a time on the US$50 Professional plan, billed annually. RocketPhone suits Salesforce teams of five or more that want every call transcribed and coached inside Salesforce, from US$45 or US$85 per user a month, billed annually, as at 26 October 2026.

Is RocketPhone a parallel dialler like Nooks?

Not on its own pages. RocketPhone lists click-to-dial, a power dialler and a progressive dialler, and publishes no line count. Nooks dials 2–5 lines in Parallel mode and averages about 6 in Turbo. Its help centre puts typical volume at about 80–120 dials an hour on Parallel against 40–60 on Power, and calls those figures directional.

Does Frontspin still exist?

Not as a separate product. As at 26 October 2026, frontspin.com redirects to titanx.io. TitanX says it “bought FrontSpin in February 2026 and integrated it fully into the TitanX Precision Dialer platform”, and that “FrontSpin is no longer a separate product or company.” Its acquisition announcement had said FrontSpin would continue as a standalone business at first, with the platforms unified over time.

How many dials an hour can an SDR make with each tool?

Only two of the four publish a number. Nooks’ Adaptive and Turbo Dialing help article gives about 40–60 dials an hour on Power and 80–120 on Parallel. A 2024 Aircall blog says its Power Dialer allows “up to 80 calls in an hour”, though Aircall’s current guide credits that figure to PhoneBurner. RocketPhone publishes no dial rate. TitanX publishes a 20–30% connect rate and “50% fewer dials”, but no hourly figure.

Which of these tools works with HubSpot?

Aircall includes HubSpot on every plan. Nooks lists HubSpot among its two-way CRM integrations. TitanX says its HubSpot integration is live today. RocketPhone’s current product and pricing pages name only Salesforce, and one platform page says it “integrates seamlessly with Salesforce and other CRMs” without naming them; the only HubSpot claim we found is in a September 2022 blog post, so ask RocketPhone in writing.

Can an AI agent replace the dialler for my SDR team?

For first attempts and follow-up, often yes. That is the job Zian’s AI agents do: they place outbound calls, follow up by SMS, email and WhatsApp, and book appointments. Aircall also sells an AI Sales Agent that calls new HubSpot leads. For complex discovery calls a human dialler still fits, and the two can run side by side.
